Heres the situation on my A4: My car has a an issue where under ~2000 rpm or so, starting from a dead stop, the car is rough, and has a hesiation/jerky acceleration. Once you get beyond the 2000-2400 point, it goes away. Also a note, the long term fuel trims are reading around +10 - +12 As far as the car: it's a 2008 A4 Quattro, 6MT, 2.0T

Ionly have a 2.0 170 mapped to 210 Quattro but I'd go for the 3.0 tdi for sure. I'm sure each engine option has a horror story or two. Most cam chain engines are usually fine for servicing but I'm not too familiar with the 3.0 if it does have tensioner problems or not.
